optimize your internet experience

So many people come to us having a basic understanding of the way things work but are interested in finding out more. Here's a list of things that you can do to optimize your web experience!

*Update your browser
PC Users: are you using Explorer? If so, are you using version 6 or 7? To check, look up at your menu...is the tools option in the top bar (version 6) or off to the right (version 7)?  If you're running version 6, you're running an outdated program! Version 7 is the standard now in design and programming, so chances are you're seeing errors where you shouldn't be.  Click here to download the newest version of Explorer.

We suggest using Firefox for all of your web browsing. It's widely renowned and we just love it! You can use Firefox or Explorer, you don't have to choose. Best of both worlds...we love that!  Click here to download Firefox.

Mac users:
Are you using Safari? It's been known to be glitchy and post errors on sites, we'd suggest using firefox as well. Our shopping cart doesn't run full features on Safari, so having another browser option is a must!  Click here to download Firefox.

*Screen size
Do you have to scroll horizontally on many sites that you land on? If so, you're probably running at a low resolution. Standard sized screen resolution is 1024x768. To change this:

Right click your desktop and choose personalize. Then choose display from the tabs and there should be a scroll bar there. Push the marker all the way to the right to select a larger resolution. Save your settings and browse the net to see what a huge difference it makes!
